Anyway, I see you do not have priv 99 to upload directly to a wiki page, but everyone has the button in their house up at the top to 'upload a folder of images'. All of these capabilities are 'uploading to Elftown'. If people don't upload their images to Elftown and instead inline them from another site, and if they make any changes to that site they are inlined from, that would make the image no longer available there, then that means it would also be no longer viewable here. Once an image is on Elftown's server, it is here. Therefore, it will always remain viewable in the future.

For priv 99, you can ask on the Guards page. I see no reason why you can't have them though.

Yes, negative into digital are a long and often expensive process, either you take them to a processor to get them digitized or you buy a rather expensive film scanner, and do them by hand which can be quite slow.... sigh... I have some 30 - 40 thousand negatives that really need to be rescanned, and in some cases scanned into archives. I already have 450 dvds of image archives done.
